The conditions detailed below do not affect your statutory rights according to United Kingdom law. These include all of the current guidelines relating to the information that we hold about you.
United Kingdom includes the U.K. mainland only (excluding the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland).
Payment will be processed via PayPal, which will accept all major credit and debit cards. You do not need to have your own PayPal account to pay in this way. All orders are positively credit card sanctioned prior to dispatch, so please ensure that the details you provide us with are correct. We cannot accept responsibility for an order being held back as a result of incorrect or invalid payment details being given. We require you to supply the registered address of the Credit Card holder, which is used to validate your order with your selected credit card company. Failure to supply the correct details will result in your order being held pending the supply of the correct details.
The total value of your order will be displayed on the order confirmation screen.
All orders received by 1.30pm on any standard working day (Monday to Friday), can be dispatched within 3 working days. You can request that we dispatch your order on any future date, providing it is one of our standard delivery days, Tuesday to Friday, if you request this separately via email.
Delivery service is charged at £7.95 per package. We use Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day by 1pm service. Please note that we cannot guarantee delivery by 1pm but Royal Mail manage to achieve this in over 99% of our deliveries. All orders require a signature on delivery. You can change the delivery address, at the final stage of the checkout process, to a work address or to an address where there will be someone in to provide a signature, or just email us with the new delivery address. Please don’t forget to add the company name if you provide a work address.
Please note that we accept no responsibility for delivery if a signature is not provided nor can we accept liability if the delivery is delayed by less than 3 days due to unforseen adverse weather conditions or strike action, once they have been despatched (less than 0.5% of deliveries last year arrived later than expected).
*For non-standard or very fragile cakes (agreed in advance) we may be able to deliver personally in which case the delivery charge is from £22 (depending on distance plus any other tolls or charges).
We regret that we are unable to accept orders for delivery to an address containing a PO Box Number, or from persons placing an order whose own address contains a PO Box number.
